Turkey Tail
Turkey tail is a fungus found in wooded areas throughout the world. Aptly named for its colorful fan like shape that resembles a turkey's tail. It grows on trees and fallen logs.
It has a long history in Chinese medicine being used as a tonic to treat lung infections. More recently modern researchers have noticed a more varied range of health benefits including anti-tumor properties and immune responses as well.
