Cordyceps

Cordyceps is a fungi that typically grows on the larvae of insects. When they attack an insect larvae they sprout long tenticle like arms. The dried larvae and fungus are both traditionally used in Chinese medicine and have been used for centuries. There over 400 species that have been discovered so far. Of those 400 species 2 have been the focus of health research. Cordyceps Sinesis and Cordyceps Milataris.

Lions Mane

Lions mane or Hericium erinaceus as it is officially known scientifically. It is also known as the hedgehog mushroom as well. It is a shaggy mushroom that looks like a full blown lion's mane hence the common name Lion's Mane. It is not the prettiest mushroom in town but it has been used for centuries in teas and soups etc... for its health benefits.

Reishi

Reishi is a dark red colored mushroom. The botanical name is Ganoderma lucidum. It is considered an adaptogen, which is a compound that is known to help the body deal with stress and boost the immune system.

Turkey tail is a fungus found in wooded areas throughout the world. Aptly named for its colorful fan like shape that resembles a turkey's tail. It grows on trees and fallen logs.
